An independent
development studio.

Trjo Development Studio is an independent development studio run by Trjo. It works across games, game development technology, software, and development tools — and while those sound like separate tracks, in practice they are the same body of work seen from different angles.

The games are the reason the rest exists. Building them surfaces what the engine needs, and the engine shapes what the games can reasonably do. TrjoLudus, the studio's Python game engine, came out of that loop: its goal is to make game development approachable for people starting out, keeping the complicated implementation details behind a clean Python API rather than in the way.

Development is done in the open. Work in progress, the reasoning behind decisions, and the things that did not work are written up in the devlogs as the work happens, rather than being reserved for finished announcements.
